Retire In Five

In November 2013, we met up with Brad Sumrok with his apartment investing training. His big thing was to show you how to retire in five years. Not only did Brad guide us with investing in apartments, but he also mentored us on how to be successful by focusing on our goals. Last weekend we went on one of the many bus tours that his students attend every other month and met with investors we now call friends that we have known for years through Brad. Now it is 2017, and it looks like this could be our year. We are now focused on notes, but the lessons that Brad taught us carry over to all forms of business. A House Divided

Jen and I are polar opposites when it comes to most things. I like meat, she likes kale. I like to drive up to my campsite, she wants to backpack. I like war movies, she likes romantic comedies. So when the elections came about, we were on different sides of the spectrum. However, we don't let politics get in our way. We are a great team and no matter how it turns out these next four years, we will not let Trump get between us. We are one when it comes to business and we are focused on our goals. One of those goals for 2017 is to acquire another 80 notes. We started slow in January, but we are picking up steam in February. We are on track to get ahead of schedule within a couple of weeks.
