It's another year and we have high hopes for 2017. We exceeded our goals for 2016 with note purchases. We were able to sell a small apartment building and refinance a large apartment complex. This made for a fantastic year in real estate. 2016 was the year that we transitioned from commercial multifamily into the world of buying non-performing notes. We are still invested in over 140 doors in multifamily, but we are purely passive in those investments now.
A couple of years ago we were introduced to mortgage note investing. Last year we went "all in" and started purchasing notes. We purchased 16 Contracts for Deed and Mortgages and we were the funding partner on 8 other assets. This year we would like to acquire another 80 notes. We've got a lot of work ahead of us to make that happen, but we feel it is attainable. Have you set your goals?
